The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department recently reported an INCREASE in New Construction; and for the first time in 3 years, new construction of condos.
This is a good step towards bridging the gap for the “missing middle” housing our city is sorely lacking.
Yesterday city council vetoed the opportunity for voters to decide the height of building construction. This will allow more and more tall and tight building construction, when what most residents want is space and views.
